The 119-year-old building that houses Abe’s on Lincoln may be moved two blocks to allow for the construction of a hotel, according to site plan submitted to the city for review on Sept. 9.
The plan also includes the relocation of a small 149-year-old building at 9 Lincoln St. on the north side of Abe’s patio. The adjacent four-story, 49-year-old building at 220 East Bryan, which previously served as an FBI office, is also part of the plan.
Consideration of the petition was deferred at the Nov. 13 meeting. At the applicant’s request it should be considered no later than the meeting on Feb. 12.
