Jan. 7, 2025 – The deadline to apply to be a TEDxSavannah 2025 speaker is Friday, January 10, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. Prospective speakers are invited to visit tedxsavannah.com for application details and guidelines and to submit an online speaker application before the deadline.
Speakers must have a local connection to Savannah and be available for rehearsals as well as coaching sessions. Talks should align with the TEDxSavannah 2025 theme of “Curiosity Unleashed” and refrain from product or business promotions.
“We invite local thought leaders to share ideas for thought-provoking talks focusing on a wide range of community-based topics,” said TEDxSavannah organizing committee member Karla Jennings. “At TEDxSavannah, we truly believe that ideas change everything and looking forward to reviewing the speaker applications for our 2025 event.”
TEDxSavannah will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with doors opening at 8 a.m. at Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus Fine Arts Auditorium in Savannah, Ga. Tickets are currently on sale at tedxsavannah.com, with early bird pricing available until March 1, 2025
TEDxSavannah 2025 will feature inspiring talks and live performances, with each speaker limited to 12 minutes to share ideas that resonate with the Savannah community. Live talks will be recorded and later shared on the TEDx Talks YouTube channel, reaching a global audience of over 40 million subscribers.
Early bird TEDxSavannah tickets are currently on sale for $50, which include seating, onsite parking, lunch, snacks, coffee and admission to the speaker meet-and-greet immediately following the main TEDxSavannah event. Beginning on March 1, 2025, general admission tickets will increase to $60 per person.
Special discounts are available for educators, students, nonprofits, active-duty military and first responders. A limited number of VIP/Friends of TEDxSavannah tickets are also available for $100, which include priority seating access, priority lunch access, lunch, seating, parking and a special VIP badge.
