Aug. 25, 2022 – A general development plan has been submitted for a 4-story, 93-unit apartment building behind the Jewish Educational Alliance building, commonly known as the JEA.
Atlanta-based RPM Living submitted the plan this week for the site, which is bounded by Bull Street on the west, the JEA building along Abercorn Street on the east, and 67th Street on the north, with DeRenne Avenue near the south side of the project. The north side along 67th Street is lined with single-family homes.
Named “Arcadia”, the building would be built on about 3.72 acres of what is now 12.23-acres of JEA property where athletic fields are located, according to the plan and associated documents. The project also includes 123 parking spaces.
RPM Living Development Manager Dave Lemco, who submitted the application, declined to comment when reached by email on Aug. 25.
JEA CEO Adam Solender did not respond in time for publication after a request for comment was sent Aug. 25.
This is a developing story and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
