June 17, 2025 – Get ready to sip, see, and savor a multisensory celebration unlike any other this June at Hop Atomica. Acclaimed abstract expressionist Penelope Moore invites the community to witness the fusion of flavor and fine art in “Art of the Cocktail: A Fresh and Unexpected Twist”—a captivating live painting series inspired by the artist’s rare gift of synesthesia, the ability to taste in color.
In this unique event series, Moore will create five original cocktail-inspired paintings live at Hop Atomica, translating each drink into a visual experience of texture, emotion, color, and movement. As guests enjoy the featured cocktails, they’ll see the spirits come alive on canvas in real time.
Each event highlights a different signature cocktail, with $1 from every featured drink sold benefiting Loop It Up Savannah, a nonprofit dedicated to arts and enrichment programs for local youth and families.
The series concludes with a Reveal & Closing Reception on Thursday, July 3rd, from 6–8PM, where the full collection will be unveiled and offered for sale in a silent auction. Bidding will be open throughout the month and culminates at the final event.

About the Artist:
Penelope Moore is an abstract expressionist painter whose work is deeply influenced by her synesthesia. She translates flavors into abstract visual compositions that burst with energy and emotion, offering audiences a fresh and visceral encounter with both art and taste.
