May 14, 2025 – Savannah’s vibrant food scene and community spirit will be on full display at the 2025 FFM Family Feast, hosted by the Forsyth Farmers’ Market. This family-friendly event is set for Sunday, May 18, from 4 to 6 p.m at The Old Dairy Farm, 2500 Tennessee Avenue.

A Celebration of Food, Music & Community

Attendees can look forward to an afternoon filled with:

  • Delicious Bites: Savor casual offerings from some of Savannah’s favorite eateries.
  • Live Music: Enjoy performances by local musicians.
  • Family Activities: Engage in interactive activities designed for kids, making it a fun outing for all ages.

This event not only offers entertainment but also supports the Forsyth Farmers’ Market’s mission to promote access to fresh, locally-sourced food and nutrition education in the Savannah community.

Support Through the Silent Auction

In conjunction with the feast, a silent auction features items that showcase local flavor—from chef experiences to artisan goods. Proceeds will benefit programs like Farm Truck 912, which brings fresh produce to neighborhoods across Savannah.

Introducing the Market Dog 2025 Contest

The Forsyth Farmers’ Market is also hosting the “Market Dog 2025” contest—a fun and furry fundraiser celebrating Savannah’s beloved canine companions. Dog owners are invited to enter their pups into the competition, with each vote costing $1. The dog with the most votes will earn the prestigious title of “Market Dog 2025.” All proceeds from the contest support the market’s initiatives, including Farm Truck 912 and nutrition education programs.
