July 11, 2025 – ARTS Southeast will present Resonance – The Flow of Compassion, a new installation by artist Cindy Male, in the Drive Thru Art Box at Green Truck Neighborhood Pub from July 15 through Oct. 8.

The installation explores the fractal and crystalline nature of being, inspired by the Hundredth Monkey Theory — a concept suggesting that collective consciousness can spark widespread social change. Male incorporates digitally printed CAD fabric with acrylic overpainting, embroidery, and innovative materials such as electroluminescent thread, making the artwork visible both day and night.

“My art involves an ongoing interest in consciousness,” Male said in a statement. “I seek to portray the underlying energy that is delivered through the material plane and yet can be known beyond the material plane.”

An artist talk is scheduled for 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 24 at ARTS Southeast.

Male, a visual artist and yogini based in Savannah, focuses her work on themes of energy, creativity and human potential. More information about her work is available at www.cindymalenanonow.com.
