Nov. 13, 2025 – The City of Savannah’s Park and Tree Department, in partnership with the Downtown and Midtown Rotary Club Reven, will hold an informational session on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 6 p.m. for a proposed gathering space in Forsyth Park.
Representatives from the City and Rotary Clubs will present plans, gather feedback, and address community concerns about the project. All residents are welcome to attend the drop-in style event.
This project will reimagine the courtyard with new hardscaping, shade trees, seating areas, and landscaping. Honoring the spirit of Herb Traub, a beloved community advocate and downtown Savannah champion, this project will transform this corner of Forsyth Park into a vibrant hub of conversation and connection within the community.
Residents who wish to provide feedback but are unable to make the meeting in-person can find a feedback form at savannahga.gov/herbtraub.
