Deep Center’s Apprenticeship Program is a non-profit job readiness 8-month comprehensive program for young people ages 18-24

Jan. 14, 2025 — Deep Center has opened up applications for the 2025 Deep Apprenticeship Program, a non-profit job readiness 8-month comprehensive program designed to equip young adults ages 18-24 with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel in the nonprofit sector. Each month, apprentices will delve into a specific aspect of non-profit work, building practical skills through a combination of independent study, co-learning sessions, and hands-on practicum.

“ DAP (Deep Apprenticeship Program) offers young people in Chatham County the hands-on experience to be able to thrive in our community’s rich non-profit space” says Director of Youth Programs, Marisa Arnold. “When we invest in the talents of our young people and give them the professional learning experience to be able to show up in these spaces, we are setting them up for success and encouraging them to lend themselves to being local changemakers.”

The Deep Apprenticeship Program application deadline is February 7, 2025 and the apprenticeship begins March 17, 2025. To apply to the program, click here: https://tinyurl.com/7mb2u6nd. For questions regarding the program, contact Marisa Arnold at marisa@deepcenter.org
