Oct. 10, 2020 – Early in-person voting begins in Chatham County on Oct. 12 and runs through Oct. 30. During this time, any registered voter can cast their ballot at the following locations and times:
- Board of Registrars Main office at 1117 Eisenhower Dr., Suite E from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
- Savannah Civic Center at 301 W. Oglethorpe Avenue, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
- Chatham County Mosquito Control at 65 Billy B. Hair Drive from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
- Islands Library at 50 Johnny Mercer Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
- Southwest Library at 14097 Abercorn St. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
- Pooler Recreation Park (gym) at 900 S. Rogers St., Pooler, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon.-Fri.
Voters can also submit their absentee ballots at some new locations, after the League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia held a successful fundraiser to purchase new drop boxes. The city drop boxes, as recently reported by the Savannah Morning News, can be found at the following locations:
- Chatham County Board of Elections Office, 1117 Eisenhower Drive, Savannah
- W.W. Law Center, 900 E. Bolton St., Savannah
- Savannah State T.A. Wright Stadium, 4437 Skidaway Road, Savannah
- Whitemarsh Island Chatham Police Precinct, 54 Johnny Mercer Blvd., Savannah
- Liberty City Community Center, 1401 Mills B Lane Blvd., Savannah
- Southwest Chatham Library, 14097 Abercorn St., Savannah
- UGA Extension, 17 Minus Ave., Garden City
- Civic Center, 301 W. Oglethorpe Ave., Savannah
- Carver Heights Community Center, 905 Collat Ave., Savannah
Saturday and Sunday voting will also be available on Oct. 17-18 at the main office on Eisenhower, and on Oct. 24-25 at the main office and Civic Center. For more information, go to the Board of Registrars website at https://voter.chathamcountyga.gov/.
