Thirsty for more? A few more bartenders wanted to be included with their holiday cocktails, so here are four more for you.
Eric tagged along for this part, obviously extremely jealous of the last article and the lack of holiday drinking on his part.
Let’s get sipping and into the festive mood.
Repeal 33
125 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd
We love this bar because it always allows bartenders to be creative and has an impressive collection of rare spirits.
This time, we met with Jordan Hall, one of their talented bartenders, to try the holiday cocktail he created.
1. Nothing for Granate

Bourbon, lemon juice, pomegranate juice, rosemary syrup, and spiced agave.
The pomegranate brings both depth and lightness to the cocktail, shining brightly behind the bourbon.
Eric notes: Refreshing but warm at the same time. I don’t love sweet drinks, and this was just the right amount of sweetness. I’m a bourbon-on-the-rocks kind of guy, and this was delightful.
Go see Jordan at Repeal 33 to enjoy this amazing cocktail! This one is his personal creation.
The Vinyl Room: The Naughty List (Part Two)
125 East Congress Lane, basement level
We somehow ended up back at the naughtiest and most Christmasy bar in all of Savannah by accident. I specifically came to see my longtime friend and amazing bartender, Kienyn.
I’m so glad we did. I found the most delicious cocktail. It tastes like seductive magic.
We briefly considered visiting the rooftop bar, which is the “Nice” themed bar this Christmas, but were persuaded to continue exploring the underground naughty bar. Kienyn just happened to be working down here that night.
I’ve known Kienyn for over 10 years, and he has a long and creative bartending career. He chose his two favorites for this feature.
2. Sled Service

Silver tequila, blood orange, alpine liqueur, agave, grenadine, cardamom bitters, rosemary.
THIS COCKTAIL IS INSANE. I swear my entire pursuit of Christmas cocktails came to a halt right here. I could have stopped here and called this whole quest a complete success.
Cancel your plans. Call out of work. Go here and get this cocktail immediately.
It is that good. How the f…? I don’t know. It just is.
It is ridiculously delicious.
The cocktail is presented inside a clear ornament, then poured by you into a short glass with ice and rosemary.
Eric notes: Wow… I never thought I really liked cocktails, and then I tried this. I might be a changed man.
3. Milk Man

Honeysuckle vodka, apple juice, ginger, vanilla, lemon, Demerara, Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk.
Sounds like a lot, right? Sweet and nostalgic, just like the cereal. The creaminess lingers gently as an afterthought.
Dangerously easy to drink more than one.
The Hawthorn Minibar and Lounge
524 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd
I ran into my friend Jason Graham while hazily collecting holiday cocktails last week. At the time, I had indulged in five, or six, and haphazardly convinced him to participate.
I didn’t have to say much. Jason is always incredibly kind and a fantastic bartender. You can find him at The Hawthorn on Mondays.
4. Christmas Revenge

Bourbon, allspice, orgeat, cacao, vanilla, pineapple juice.
When we asked Jason why he named this cocktail “Revenge,” he giggled like a six-year-old boy who just put a lizard in his brother’s underwear drawer.
If you want to know more, go see him on a Monday and ask. More importantly, he insists you come any day of the week to The Hawthorn and request this cocktail from whichever bartender is working.
Only a couple more days left until the festivities begin! Have a marvelous time.
Cheers to a new year full of amazing sips and bites.
Love always,
Vanessa
