Feb. 22, 2026 – The Gordonston Art Fair will be held on Saturday, Feb. 28, in Juliette Gordon Low Park, 10 Edgewood Road, in the historic Gordonston neighborhood, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., just minutes from downtown Savannah.
The art fair is a juried fine arts and crafts festival featuring more than 50 local artists. The fair returned four years ago after a 10-year hiatus and aims to provide new opportunities for artists and artisans in the Savannah community. The “locals for locals” theme is meant to give regional talent — both young and old — greater exposure and sales opportunities. Last year, more than 800 people attended the fair, many of whom left with packages in their arms.
One of the unique features of this year’s fair is a giant recycled monster created from 500 plastic bags by nearby third graders. The fair will also include children’s arts and crafts activities, live musical entertainment, a gently used book sale, and refreshments from local food vendors.
Community events cannot happen without the cooperation and support of other organizations, including Christ Community Church, the Girl Scouts of the USA, the Chatham County Resource Conservation and Recycling Education Center, the City of Savannah Sanitation Department, Kroger Savannah Marketwalk on Mall Boulevard (Store 697), and Savannah-Chatham County Public School System art teachers.
Gordonston is a historic neighborhood nestled in east Savannah and is considered Savannah’s oldest bedroom community. It contains a private wooded park deeded by Juliette Gordon Low’s parents and named for her, the founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA. The park is enclosed by an iron fence and originally featured a pair of ornate garden gates designed by Low herself.
