Oct. 7, 2025 – Green Truck Pub is proud to announce its 15-year anniversary celebration on Saturday, October 18, marking a decade and a half of serving up local farm fresh flavors and community connections.
Since opening in 2010, Green Truck Pub has committed to sourcing quality ingredients from trusted local partners. We’ve served Hunter Cattle Company grassfed beef since day one. Clark and Sons Organics, Joseph Fields Farm, Bradford Farms, Gannon Organics, Readees Bees, Forsyth Farmers’ Market, Carrot Cake Sensation, Auspicious Baking and other lowcountry producers, bring fresh, sustainable ingredients to Green Truck’s kitchen each week.
The birthday party will feature family friendly games and live music starting at 4pm, with an art market from 5-9pm. Food and drink specials, including house-made ice cream, birthday cake, and sangria, are on the menu all day, along with our seasonal burger, soup, and quesadilla. Activities include a ketchup art contest, toy truck races, and more! Prizes include gift cards and GTP swag.
In keeping with our tradition of giving back, Green Truck will match community giving and donate a portion of proceeds to Renegade Paws Rescue, to support their life-saving mission to care for dogs.
As owner Whitney Shephard says, “Savannahians’ love of connecting over good food and drinks is our inspiration. For fifteen years, the Green Truck family has proudly served the community that supports us. We hope y’all come out to raise a glass and keep on truckin’!”

About Green Truck Neighborhood Pub
Established in 2010, Green Truck Pub was founded on a simple premise: Savannahians deserve a casual place to eat and drink well.
We do simple food the hard way – by handmaking everything from ketchup and pimento cheese to salad dressing and veggie patties. Eating well also means doing some good for the local economy by sourcing everything we can close to home. Green Truck operates Monday to Saturday from 11:30am to 10pm.
