Oct. 20, 2025 – St. Joseph’s/Candler invites cancer survivors to explore the post-treatment phase of survivorship through a Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion series focused on moving beyond treatment. Attendees will discover ways to get back to whole-body wellness through workshops designed to foster a healthy transition. Each person can attend every session or select different sessions to attend.

  • 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. |“I finished my cancer treatment! Now what?” What it means to be in survivorship
  • 11:15 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. | Healing through Food with Cooking Demonstration
  • 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. | Getting Creative: Art Activity with Telfair Museum Making Marks Program
  • 2 p.m. – 3 p.m. | Sexual Health
  • 3 p.m. – 4 p.m. | Returning to Fitness
  • 4 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. | Curious, Compassion and Calm Mindfulness and Meditation

The Cancer Thriving & Surviving Series is free to attend and includes lunch.

About the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion at St. Joseph’s/Candler:

The Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer & Research Pavilion (LCRP) at St. Joseph’s/Candler is where advanced technology and compassionate care combine to create one of the most innovative clinical oncology programs in the Southeast. The LCRP is home to a team of highly trained cancer specialists that skillfully use high-impact technological screening and treatment options for optimal results. In addition, our team has access to nationally funded research and clinical trials and provides community outreach and education with an outstanding array of services specific to cancer patients and their families.
