April 22, 2026 – Spring is in the air, and cake is on everyone’s minds – at least at Loop It Up Savannah.
The local nonprofit is hosting its second annual Cake Party fundraiser, set for 6-8 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Collins Quarter at Forsyth Park.
“After the whimsical success of last year’s event, we simply can’t wait for Cake Party 2026,” said Loop It Up founder and Executive Director Molly Lieberman. “This event is the special treat we’ve all been waiting for. It gives supporters of Loop It Up an opportunity to come together to celebrate another impactful school year in the most fun way we could think of – over 30 cakes! We’re getting ready to kick off our busy summer camp season, and the funds we raise at Cake Party contribute to an engaging, fun and safe summer for the kids we serve.”
The cost to attend the party is $35 for adults and $20 for kids 12 and under, until Monday when adult tickets go to $45. And there are sponsorship opportunities at the “Sprinkles,” “Cake Pop” and “Cupcake” level for anyone or any business that wants to show their support for cake and Loop It Up.
For the home bakers, cake registration is $35, which includes admission to the party. Cake registration closes Monday. Tickets include appetizers from Collins Quarter and about as much cake as you can eat. There is also a cash bar and the chance to win cool prizes from local businesses.
“Sandpiper Supply is proud to support Loop It Up’s Cake Party – where creativity takes the cake and community is the sweetest ingredient,” said Christy Ellis of Sandpiper Supply. “It’s a perfect celebration of the imagination and artistry that drives Loop It Up and their support of Savannah’s children.”
Sandpiper Supply, Collins Quarter and Service Brewing are sponsoring this year’s Cake Party. All proceeds from the party will directly benefit Loop It Up Savannah, which provides creative education opportunities to more than 11,000 students every year. Their core programs include Mindfulness Zone, Looping Literacy Together and STEAM/School Gardens that together serve about 50 schools across the Savannah metro area.
“Come celebrate with us,” Lieberman said. “Bring cake, eat cake, hang out with your friends and support Loop It Up. See you on May 3!”
