May 26, 2026 — The Chatham County–Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission (MPC) will host a public Open House on Tuesday, June 2 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Mendonsa Conference Room at MPC, 112 East State St. to provide residents an opportunity to review and comment on the draft updates to the 2040-2045 Comprehensive Plans for Unincorporated Chatham County, and the cities of Savannah and Garden City.

Plan 2045 represents the required five-year update to each community’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan guides short- and long-term growth, redevelopment, and preservation throughout Chatham County and reflects the community’s values and goals. It serves as a policy framework for decisions related to housing, land use, transportation, quality of life, natural resources, and economic development.

Residents are encouraged to attend and provide input as part of the public review process.
