Anyone who donates to the nonprofit during that period will be automatically entered into the drawing, regardless of the amount contributed.

This year’s Giving Tuesday effort focuses on replacing and maintaining water-quality probes after two sets were stolen from the river. The equipment provides data that helps the organization identify changes that may signal pollution and respond quickly to protect waterways.

An anonymous donor has pledged an additional $1,000 if at least 25 donations of $50 or more are made on Giving Tuesday itself, Dec. 2.
