Nov. 10, 2023 — The Starlandia Foundation, a project-based organization that provides legal and financial support for unique creative endeavors, is excited to announce the appointment of Sam Rush as its new Arts Administrator. With a background in nonprofit management as the former Program Director for FFI, a global cross-community youth leadership program, and years of experience as an artist and organizer in the New England literary arts community, Rush brings a wealth of experience to the Savannah community.

In their capacity as Arts Administrator, Sam Rush will oversee the foundation’s arts programs and initiatives, contributing to its growth and nurturing a vibrant creative community. Their diverse background and dedication to the arts align perfectly with the Foundation’s mission.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sam Rush to our team,” said Clinton Edminster, Owner of Starlandia Supply. “Their enthusiasm for empowering local artists and experience in bringing communities together around shared interests is a perfect fit for our team.”

Sam Rush expressed their excitement, stating, “I want more art! I want to connect artists to resources and opportunities so they can make more art. I want to give community members the chance to see art and make art themselves. I think creativity is part of being human.”
