Sept. 3, 2020 – Gordon Development Group recently submitted a site plan for five contiguous parcels on the south side of East 32nd Street between Habersham Street and Lincoln Street. The plan, which is under review, is for the construction of a three-story building on vacant lots comprised of a private club with guest rooms for members and a restaurant, according to the plan.
The review comes after the Chatham County-Savannah Metropolitan Planning Commission’s approval last October of the developer’s request to rezone ( agenda Item #8) the site from the TN-2 (Traditional Neighborhood) zoning classification to the TC-1 (Traditional Commercial) zoning classification.
The property is located next to the former Blowin’ Smoke restaurant, where a new Tequila’s Town Mexican Restaurant recently opened.
