Do you remember the last time you had a gas station attendant refill your car for you in Savannah? If it was sometime this century, than it was likely at the former downtown Smith’s Texaco at 236 Drayton St.
Movie studios, athletic fields & housing proposed for Savannah fairgrounds site
City staff is recommending that the three proposals to develop the former fairgrounds site be presented to residents before moving forward with any of the projects, as part of the city’s new Community Benefits Plan.
