April 19, 2024 – On Sunday, April 28 at 4 pm, the Savannah Branch NAACP Political Action Committee will host a Candidate Meet & Greet for contested races during its Mass Meeting. The meeting will be held at Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center located at 4712 Bull Street, Savannah, Georgia 31405 with Bishop Dr. James Wright, Jr., Senior Pastor.
Invited candidates are those nonpartisan candidates for the May 21, 2024 election whose seats are contested – Judgeships for Superior Court, Magistrate Court, and Probate Court, as well as Chief Magistrate Court and Chatham County Board of Education Districts 1, 3, and 7.
Also invited are those running in contested partisan primary offices whose winners will move on to the November general election – candidates for District Attorney, State House District 162, State Senate District 1, Chatham County Commission Districts 1 and 8, Coroner, Tax Commissioner, and Sheriff.
This meeting is open to the public.
