Satire by Eric Curl

Oct. 8, 2023 – The city recently celebrated the arrival of a roomful of ribbons by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the occasion, which will allow for many more ribbon cutting eventsMultiple media outlets converged at the same spot to cover the same event at the same time on the day the city said they should be there. Then they all took photos and wrote about the same thing. Somebody cut a ribbon. A few folks said some things. Then news happened.

In a completely unrelated note, municipal elections are scheduled for Nov. 7.
