Satire by Eric Curl

Sept. 17, 2023A Savannah resident recently began using his home as a warehouse after reading of the “very low electricity rates” commercial industrial entities negotiate at the Public Service Commission.

“I already store vast amounts of Target products so it is really not going to be much of a change,” the homeowner said.

In addition, the homeowner tore down his solar power system that had been powering his home since Georgia offers no specific state incentives for warehouse solar.

Since the change, the homeowner has found that pallets make adequate bedding, as long as you don’t mind the occasional splinter.
