Nov. 15, 2023 – A number of Savannah residents have apparently experienced amnesia while enjoying a cocktail and the view from the rooftop bars of hotels they previously opposed. When reminded of their previous opposition to the high-end establishments the residents expressed surprise and confusion.
“I can’t believe I wasn’t always excited about being able to enjoy a drink while admiring this amazing view of the city,” one resident said.
Experts say the forgetfulness may be due to related to alcohol consumption and the thinner air experienced at higher elevations. Others say that while history is long in Savannah, memories tend to run short.
