Satire by Eric Curl

Feb. 11, 2024 – Millions of Taylor Swift fans swarmed Savannah and filled multiple stadiums across the country on Saturday, when the city dedicated a downtown square to Susie King Taylor. While initially believing the event was being held to honor their favorite pop star, the “Swifties” instead learned about an amazing historical figure that rocked the nation.

“At first, I thought it was going to be a cruel summer, then I shook it off and it became a love story that enchanted me and exceeded my wildest dreams,” said one fan who was not ready for it, but believed the event was gorgeous.
