Satire by Eric Curl

Dec. 3, 2023 – Following his expulsion from the US House of Representatives for multiple fraud, ethics and criminal allegations, George Santos is now only second in the polls to the front-runner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination.

“Santos has shown that he has the attributes we look for in a presidential candidate,” said one supporter.

When asked about his rise in popularity, Santos said he was not surprised.

“After three successful terms as president, it only makes sense the country would want me back for a fourth,” he said.

Inspired by Santos’ growing popularity, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has been promoting his own unethical behavior and lies, including misinformation about COVID-19 data, to boost his standing in the race for the GOP nomination.

“I have also done horrible things and am just as deserving,” DeSantis said.
