Sept. 19, 2025 – Hyundai officials announced they will be converting their EV manufacturing plant into a burger patty production facility following the immigration raid at the Ellabell, Ga. site earlier this month.

As a result of the subsequent deportation of the South Korean nationals that were providing the necessary training at the plant, the car manufacturer determined they had to “shift gears,” according to one plant official.

“We know Americans, including one very powerful American, love hamburgers,” the official said. “And with most of the remaining workers already familiar with this particular skillset, we figured was our best option moving forward.”

The official announced that the burgers would be cooked using charcoal and gas, in line with the preferred fuels of the current administration.

“Nobody wants an electric baked burger,” the official added.
