Starlandia, a reclaimed art supply store in Savannah, has launched a new program that allows customers to donate store credit from traded art materials to local schools, nonprofits and community organizations.
The new Starlandia Community Credit program gives customers an opportunity to support organizations in need of creative supplies while finding new uses for unwanted art materials.
Under the program, customers bring art materials to Starlandia for trade and select a participating organization to receive the resulting store credit. Starlandia processes the trade and transfers the credit directly to the selected organization, which can then use it to purchase supplies at the store.
The program’s eight inaugural community partners are Loop It Up Savannah, EmployAbility, ARTS Southeast, Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club, Greenbriar Children’s Center, Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia, Park Place Outreach and Savannah Children’s Theatre.
Schools, nonprofits and other community organizations interested in participating can learn more and register at starlandiasupply.com/community-credit.
Starlandia is located at 2438 Bull St. in Savannah.
