Nov. 1, 2026 – Thunderbolt is getting a new pickleball complex, restaurant, retail shop and lounge — all in one, thanks to Rickey and Whitney Greer.
The couple is inviting the community to come to the new Thunderbolt Dink Dome for a pickleball match, coffee, dinner or courtside cocktail.
The new establishment at 3109 E. Victory Drive began a “soft opening” on Sunday that will continue through Nov. 14. The opening provides an opportunity for pickleball players (and those who may be pickleball curious) to try out one of their five covered courts. Meanwhile, those who may not be interested in picking up a paddle can grab a coffee, smoothie or baked good at the Rally Road Coffee Co. space within the complex, or enjoy a meal at Dinky’s Kitchen, the site’s full-service restaurant. Visitors can also watch the action from the Courtside Lounge while enjoying an adult beverage. In addition, there is a retail shop where shoppers can buy pickleball equipment, accessories and apparel.
For those looking for work, they are hiring for all positions, including kitchen staff, servers, baristas, bartenders, coaches and retail staff.

The new complex occupies a 1.12-acre site assembled from three adjoining parcels, including a former Century 21 Fox Properties real estate office, according to a 2025 planning and zoning commission staff report. The development repurposes the existing office building while adding the covered pickleball courts and other amenities.
