Feb. 13, 2020 – Maupin Engineering submitted a site development plan on Feb. 7 to renovate a two-story house at 11 West 43rd St. into a coffee house/cafe with a supplemental parking area, following the combination of the lot with 9 West 43rd St.
The house is owned by Mohamed Eldibany, who developed the Victory North music venue located about a block to the west at 2603 Whitaker St. The house was built in 1935, according to the property records.
A permit was also issued on Feb. 12 to renovate the neighboring office building into a catering kitchen for Victory North and small restaurant and restrooms serving the venue’s courtyard.
