July 21, 2025 – YIMBY Savannah is inviting the public to hear from community organizer Coco Guthrie-Papy on July 30 to learn strategies and gain confidence in becoming an effective voice for housing, planning, and equitable growth in the community.
The event, “How to Become an Effective Community Advocate” is being held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, at Savannah Coffee Roasters, 215 W. Liberty St.
YIMBY Savannah is a grassroots group of citizens that advocates for safe, stable, healthy, and affordable housing of all housing types and at all price points.
The group meets regularly to hear from experts on various housing topics and to discuss concerns for building a better, stronger community by supporting pro-housing initiatives and efforts.
