The Justice Reform Partnership Presents: Talk Justice Tuesday 2024

Talk Justice Tuesday is the annual virtual series that focuses on criminal and juvenile legal and legislative reform happening at the Georgia State Capitol.

(January 9, 2024) – The Justice Reform Partnershipa statewide coalition representing over 80 organizations working to advance criminal legal reform in Georgia, is excited to announce the 2024 Talk Justice Tuesday series. Talk Justice Tuesday is a state legislative series to discuss the issues and solutions that are important to communities impacted by criminal legal systems and identify strategies for moving forward. We’ll dive deep into specific criminal legal policy questions, and hear from community members, advocates, and lawmakers about opportunities for reform in 2024 and beyond. The event series is free, virtual and open to the public.

Our 2024 series includes what true safety can look like, highlighting evidence-based practices that are working well in our state and beyond, and providing alternatives and solutions to long-standing problems we’ve yet to tackle. Viewers will hear from advocates from across the state, those most directly-impacted by less than effective legislation, and ultimately, learn how to advance necessary reforms both at the State Capitol and in our own communities. These events are free, but registration is required. Our series includes:
