Aug. 14, 2020 – “Ol’ blue” at 1500 Waters Avenue is coming down. (That’s my nickname; I don’t think anybody else called it that.) It’s only 37 years old, but I would love to hear any stories about it, if anybody’s got any. I’m curious what will go in it’s place. The property is now owned by the city, according to the demolition permit. From the time it was built in 1983, up until sometime this year, it was owned by the Youth for Christ Urban Christian church, according to the property record.
