Satire by Eric Curl

Nov. 5, 2023 – After months of carrying city council candidates’ campaign mailers, Savannah’s local mail deliverers are now leading in the polls for this Tuesday’s election due to a popular write-in campaign from voters.

“I’ve never been more impressed with someone’s ability to deliver as promised, day after day,” one resident said.

In somewhat related news, children are demanding a redo after a “fraudulent” Halloween in which they did not like the candy they received.

“Candy Corn and Smarties? Really?” One child said. “What, was the store all out of Junior Mints?”
