Aug. 30, 2020 – The League of Women Voters of Coastal Georgia is raising funds to purchase and staff eight new drop-off ballot boxes. There is currently only one box, which is located at the Board of Elections office, 1117 Eisenhower Drive. The new boxes will be spread across Chatham County to make absentee voting easier for all registered voters. The nonprofit organization needs to meet their goal of $32,000 by Sept. 29.
