May 17, 2026 – Voters on Tuesday overwhelmingly voted for a retired can manufacturer who still uses a rotary phone to run the government.
“He was the only one who didn’t text me while I was eating,” said one voter.
The younger folks said they appreciate the retro vibes the old man exhibited.
When notified of his election, the old man hung up.
