WHAT: Park Place Outreach will host its Throwback Band Party, a fundraising event featuring live music, dancing and beer at Service Brewing Co.
Savannah band A Nickel Bag of Funk will perform old-school party favorites and popular hits. Proceeds will support Park Place Outreach’s services for runaway, homeless and at-risk youth and young adults in the Savannah area.
The organization provides emergency shelter, meals, counseling, educational assistance, crisis intervention, transitional living, family preservation, homelessness diversion and street outreach services.
Attendees must be 21 or older.

ABOUT PARK PLACE OUTREACH: Park Place Outreach, located at 514 E. Henry St. in Savannah, serves runaway, homeless and at-risk youth ages 11 to 21 through residential and community-based programs.
Founded in 1984, the organization works to support young people and their families, improve family stability and reunify families whenever possible. Its programs include emergency shelter, transitional living, family preservation, street outreach and homelessness diversion services.
